Amazon.com Review It's hard to imagine any wedding detail that could have escaped inclusion in the pages of Weddings for Dummies. How to build a chuppah, how to anchor a comb in the bride's hair, who dances with whom and when--everything you ever wanted to know about getting hitched is right here. Fortunately, Marcy Blum and Laura Fisher Kaiser aren't afraid to give an opinion or two (there's a list of "Ten Tacky Temptations We Beg You to Resist"), but most of the information is entirely nonjudgmental. It's best to have a much-married older sister plan your wedding, but if you have to do it yourself, this is the perfect book to tell you how.

good deal October 31, 2009 M. K. Marino Good condition, got here fast, and the quality was great. I would definately buy from this retailer again.
Wedding Planning for Dummies September 17, 2009 V Clarke The Wedding Planning for Dummies is an easy read with plenty of humor and illustrations from the author, which I thought was not only entertaining but rather useful. The book is intentionally written as a reference so I can easily skim through the first time and then go back to the table of contents or index to locate which aspect of wedding planning I wanted more information on. It was pretty thorough from how to tie a bowtie to how to have the wedding cake be a focal point. In each section it was also helpful by its format to help the reader identify the key points, reminders, and tips. I enjoyed the book and felt it was helpful to plan weddings. There are definitely alot of things to consider before putting wedding together and I think this book does a good job in taking something that could be complex be somewhat palatable for a person who has never planned a wedding before. I actually have planned weddings and hope to write a book someday perhaps to plan a wedding on a budget. I hope to add the same humor and enthusiasm as well.
This book is the best! July 12, 2009 Carol Furey This is the second time I buy this book, I lost the first one and all I can say is: I love this book. I'm about to get married and everything I needed to have the wedding of my dreams was found in this book. Very easy, it explains step by step what, where and how to do to set up a great celebration. I truly recommend it. This's the best gift for any bride to be!
