Product Description School psychologist Skye Denison reluctantly agrees to act as maid of honor in her California cousin's over-the-top platinum-style wedding- and is also expected to assist the control-freak wedding planner. But when Skye discovers the planner dead, just one week before the big event, Skye is suddenly working double-duty.
While overseeing every nuptial detail, she's also helping the police find out who hated the bridal consultant enough to kill her. Can Skye get her cousin to the church on time-and save herself from a killer who may actually be on the guest list?

WEDDING PLANNING IS H--L July 9, 2010 ITZME (Dallas, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The 12th book of the Scumble River mystery series. Skye's cousin Riley returns to SR to get married. She is marrying a very rich man (divorced with 2 children in college) and wants to show everyone how far she has come. Her wedding planner Belle is killed a few weeks before the wedding and Skye is forced by her grandmother to take over the duties. Skye and Wally are in search of the killer. Of course, the Doziers make an appearance (hilarious, as usual). There is alot of corruption in this wedding. Now I have to wait a year for number 13.

Ms Swanson has done it again. Just when you begin to think there's no possible way Skye Denison find another dead body in the tiny town of Scumble River, Ms Swanson figures a way to make it happen. Weddings are always stressful, but Ms Swanson takes it to a whole new level when the wedding planner is found dead and Skye has to step in and not only put on the wedding of the century, but solve a murder at the same time.
All the colorful cast of characters are in attendance, providing comic relief and clues. And with two men vying for her attention, Skye's love life is heating up.
If you haven't visited Scumble River I highly recommend the trip.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly-same as all of the others in this series. It was a fun read. I am definitely going to continue on with this series. Skye, her family, and the rest of the people in her town are lovable and great additions to these books.

The binding of the book was damaged when I received it. Otherwise, it was received in a timely manner and there were no problems with billing, etc.
