The Jose Eber Clipless curling is fantastic! I had reluctantly stopped at a stand in the mall and allowed the sales person to use a different brand of iron on my hair a few weeks ago. I was shocked to find that the results were natural looking, beautiful curls! I was ready to buy! Then I found out that it was $150! No way. I decided to continue using my faithful GHD straightening iron to curl and forget about it. But I couldn't, I loved the curls. I researched online and found out that you can just take the clip off one of your old irons and turn it clipless. Yea right, I tried that and the curls just fell right out. Finally, I checked Amazon and found this one! The price was great and the reviews were good to, so I thought I would give it a shot. I am SOO glad I did. The iron works even better than the one at the mall and the curls stay so long that I can just get up the day after styling and be ready to walk out the door! Great buy, thank you Amazon!
PS The only downfall is that there is nothing on the end of the barrel to hold on to, but they send you a free glove to prevent burns- Use it. And there is no auto shut off, so make sure you turn it off before leaving.

This iron is really easy to use and gives you large loose wavy curls. I've used it also on lots of friends and it seems to work great w/ all hair types AND all different lengths! Use the glove the first few times though, its realllly easy to burn yourself until you get used to it.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on hairsprays, gels, mousse, curling irons, hot rollers, etc... to get my hair to curl and hold it. It wasn't until a co-worker of mine, with similar straight hair, showed up to work with nice curly/wavy hair. I asked how she did it and she told me 1) She curled her hair the other day 2) she didn't have any product in her hair and 3) she used a clampless curler. I did my research and found this brand to have good reviews and be a decent price and took the plunge and bought it. I'm so glad I did. Just to test it, I curled my hair last night before I went to bed. I didn't use any product, just curled my clean-washed hair. I woke up with bouncy curls. I touched it up a little bit before I went to work but I didn't use any product to hold the curl. It's now close to 7 pm and my hair is still curly. I can't believe it. I'm so happy. My hair is bouncy and the curls are shiny without having used a gloss. I wasn't really a believer since I have super straight hair and have tried everything to get it to hold a curl, but the Jose Eber clampless curler did the trick. It's not frizzy looking either, it looks like I have healthy, pretty curls. P.S., my hair is long, down to the middle of my back and I color it every couple of months. I also ran around a lot today and could feel my head sweating, but the curls are still here!

......curling iron I have ever owned, it only takes me about 15-20 minutes to get all of my hair curled, and I'm out the door, this is great because when I used other curling irons I had to curl and re-curl my hair before heading out the door and even then by the time I got to where I wanted to go my hair was flat with barely a hint of a wave. When I use this curling iron my curls last ALL day sometimes into the next, weather is a non-issue. I ordered the curling iron on a Thursday and received it on Saturday, so I got it quick. It gets extremely hot so there is a risk of burn, (yes I have burned myself) but if you use the glove that is included with the curling iron it's no big deal. The only thing I hate is changing the glove to my other hand, but that can easily be solved if I choose to buy another one. Deserves the ***5 STARS*** and worth the money paid
